The clear water, the color combination of blue with between the sand, sky and the water
Going back home!!
I spent around 4 days here in Chaaya Lagoon Hakuraa Haraa and I loved it. Me and my friend went to swim, kayaking and also enjoying the SPA in the Atoll. We had a good time. The weather were so nice, full of sun. And at night we also relaxing at the balcony on the water bungalow and watching the moon rise.
The pier is well-built, I like the design how its linked to the islands. I remembered we were welcomed by the hosts, she is friendly and explaining everything about the experience we can get when we staying here. Staffs over there were friendly, and I really like the ambience over there, its quiet, relax and enjoyable.
However, theres one thing I need to write here regarding the idea to take care of the atoll. When we kayaking, we found out that the other island on the side of Chaaya Lagoon Resort, the nearest one. Filled with some rubbish, such as bottle, etc. Although that island is not accomodating resorts-like facilities, just trees, it will be good to preserve its cleanliness. Can you imagine if people can build the bungalows that links from that islands to Chaaya Resort? It will be super cool!!
I would love to share several photos together with this review of mine. Me and my friend will sure love to go back there again!!
Smiles!

This was our first trip to the Maldives and we were not dissapointed. Our arrival was by seaplane, and flying over the atolls was something we will never forget, seeing all the little islands ringed by white and turqouise gave us an insight as to what to expect and when we arrived at Hakurra
it took our breath away.A crescent of white sails were visible form the plane, these turned out to be the roofs of our water villas!
We were set down on a water borne platfrom amongst the reef and a little boat came out to collect us.We were totally amazed at the clarity of colour, the sea, the sky and the fish all seemed too vivid to be real.
We were welcomed by a cooling drink and then taken to our rooms. The room boys are polite and discreet, and nothing is too much trouble.
Our room was large and comfortable with a king size bed and a balcony that opend up onto the lagoon, you could hear the water lapping underneath the villa which lulled us to sleep every night.
After a wonderful breakfast the next day, we spent our day relaxing , swimming in the azure sea and studying the abundant fish and coral. The island was spotlessly clean, and we were very well taken care of by the staff. The beaches were like fine powder between our toes, and the sea was crystal clear, the atmosphere was totally tranquil and relaxed, and it never seemed crowded, you could always find a private spot to yourself. The bar was a great place to chill, with a sandy floor and there was never any dress code to adhere to , it was actually far too warm to wear many clothes, so i would advise natural fibres!
Over the next two weeks we found ourselves more and more relaxed, and it was a pleasure to wake uo there and find the sun shining on the sea..we would sit on the balcony and have our morning coffee, marvelling at the amazing sea life that was flourishing underneath our room! One of the highlights of our holiday was the outdoor bbq on the beach, and maldivian evening laid on by the resort..the food was amazing, and the entertainment spectacular, with maldivian dancing and drumming..the staff work so hard to give you a good time...
The crab races were very amusing..apparantly they bring in the same crabs evertime and we saw them the day after wandering down the beach, with numbers painted on their backs..totally unaware that they were actually employed by the resort!
I learned to snorkel for the first time, it took some getting used to as i am slightly claustrophobic!Once i had managed to master it I had a brilliant time and I also got over my fear of fish!being underwater was like being in another world, clown fish, angel fish and amazing coloured corals were everywhere, and some of the fish get very inquisitive and come right up to you.
On the day we had to leave we were so sad to be leaving this amazing, beautiful island...it certainly was a tiny paradise, in the middle of the indian ocean, and something we will never , ever forget. The best holiday of our lives , and we long to return..who wouldn't?
